ROAN BOOKKEEPING SERVICES    Roan Bookkeeping Services has been serving small businesses in Bellingham, Washington since 2004. My attraction to numbers has been with me all my life. I was fascinated by my mother's work in a bank when I was young, and I loved doing my math homework. I worked for my parents running a dry-cleaning business and dreamed of having my own company. After years of being a homemaker I attended Bellingham Vocational College and earned my Accounting Assistant Degree in 2003. I have performed bookkeeping services as a business owner and an employee for the past 9 years. I take pride in doing a thorough job and assisting people with the tasks of running their businesses. As a member of Sustainable Connections I support local businesses and environmentally conscious practices and strive to do all I can in recycling, reusing and making sustainable choices.  I have dabbled in art, creating rock art and crafts, selling at craft fairs, art galleries in the Bellingham area, and through my e-commerce website. My hopes are to explore painting and drawing again and get back to creating crafts and selling online. I am a mother of two daughters, one who is grown and lives in Seattle, is a nail technician, and an artist and hopes to have a business someday and the other attending Bellingham High School after 5 years of Waldorf School. In my spare time I like to spend time adventuring in nature, read, knit and sew, play music, learn piano, listen to music and dance, eat wholesome vegan inspirations from my daughter, support and encourage my daughters in their endeavors and lives and enjoy a strong cup of coffee with a friend or a walk at sunset in Bellingham Harbor.
